I’m Yiwei, a multidisciplinary Game Developer & Artist specializing in immersive audiovisual experiences that bridge technical innovation with emotional storytelling.

About me

I'm driven by a deep appreciation for audiovisual experiences that resonate on an emotional level, and I believe videogames represent one of the most compelling mediums for artistic expression in our time. My background in English literature expanded my understanding of narrative beyond traditional text, leading me to see how stories can be told through every technical element—from lighting and sound design to interaction mechanics and visual composition.

This love for impactful audiovisual experiences naturally drew me to rendering technologies and audio engineering, where I discovered that the technical and artistic aspects are inseparable. My multidisciplinary approach stems from this belief that exceptional experiences emerge when technical mastery serves artistic intent, creating what I consider a broader, more immersive form of literary experience that engages multiple senses simultaneously.

  • Creator of the entirety of the music of our Project
  • Led the design and planning of the project’s music design and production.
  • Coordinated the communication between Art, Programming, and Design departments in order for the music to serve the project the best it can
  • Managing risk and building strategies under extreme time constraints and pressure.
  • Created a unique audio art direction that comes hand in hand with the project.
