About me

I am passionate about video game design, with a strong interest in creating engaging weapons and designing memorable enemies especially monsters. I enjoy the creative and technical challenges that come with balancing weapon mechanics and crafting unique enemy behaviors that enhance the player experience. My focus is on building gameplay systems that feel impactful, immersive, and rewarding, particularly in combat scenarios. Designing monstrous enemies and powerful, satisfying weapons is where I feel most inspired and motivated.

  • Begin the initial design phase for the weapons intended for the game, with a strong focus on ensuring that they provide a satisfying and engaging feel during gameplay.

Game Design Document (GDD)

  • Develop the sections of the GDD related to weapons and abilities.
  • Use Excel to create structured tables outlining the statistics and attributes of each weapon and ability.

Unity Implementation

  • Create mockups of the weapons and abilities using C#, integrating them into the existing Unity environment for testing and iteration.

Engine Integration

  • Incorporate the weapons into the game engine and ensure their proper functionality.
  • Implement abilities for each weapon, verifying that they operate as intended.
  • Integrate visual effects (VFX) for both the weapons and their abilities to enhance gameplay feedback and immersion.
  • Add specific visual effects for the Red Thirst and Black Rage mechanics to further reinforce their impact within the game.
