Marco Baldan

My name is Marco Baldan, my favourite color is blue, my favourite genre is classic turn-based JRPGs, and I’m a student at the Centro de la Imagen y la Tecnología Multimedia – Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain.

About me

I prefer the word ‘creator’ rather than programmer, designer, or artist. It’s what I used to say when I was a kid: “I want to be a videogame creator.” I hope little me is proud!

There’s power in multidisciplinarity, and I want to use it to create unique and memorable experiences. I particularly like puzzle games with an open-ended nature that encourage experimentation and creativity, and I believe that making videogames is one of the most complex puzzles in and of itself. There is never a right or wrong answer, just multiple solutions that can lead you down a plethora of different paths, which I think is pretty awesome. I’m the kind of person who never likes taking the easy way out and intentionally puts myself in unfamiliar situations to keep learning new skills.
